Dear CVMP Friends, Supporters, & Bainbridge Twp:
Over the past two years, the CVMP has made every effort to support Centerville Mills by protecting it, raising awareness, and proposing ideas. I would like to personally thank all of our supporters for your thoughts, ideas, comments, and your overall support. We raised our voices & we made a difference to Centerville Mills.
This is the temporary end of our journey as we cannot continue due to constant blocks with Bainbridge Township. Everytime we tried to propose a new idea, we could never get through. Our emails & phone calls were ignored, we were dragged into long and boring meetings only to find out they were having a fuss that we made a link to them on our website. Seriously? Really? We were forced to sit through an hour and a half long meeting so we could be told that Bainbridge Township now apparently controls the internet.
CVMP has always been professional - our representatives always attended township meetings in business professional dress and treated everyone with upmost respect even if they were attacking us. Bainbridge Township has not been professional. They have had biased thoughts about us such as approving smaller projects for the Boy Scouts and rejecting our smaller projects (which were exactly the same, BTW).
When new trustees are elected, perhaps the CVMP will have a chance then. Until then, all business relations have ceased. We will not be responding to emails, our site will display this letter, and our Facebook page will not be monitored.
To all of our supporters, please continue to support Centerville Mills until the very end. The CVMP has a dream and that is to return Centerville Mills to what it once was and improve it even more.
To Bainbridge Township, we no longer have an alliance. This happened when you started persuing your legal options. Cowards.
All the best,
Travis Newton
CVMP President & Director
